DaDa is a digital media artist and interdisciplinary creator whose work lies at the intersection of art, technology, consciousness, and spirituality. With a background in architecture, digital media, and communication, she studied at Zhejiang University, Boston University, and the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL. Her practice is rooted in a triadic structure of personal experience – academic reflection – public interaction.

Academic Reflection
Her work weaves together Eastern philosophies—particularly Buddhism and Taoism—with Western phenomenology and philosophies of mind. Using frameworks from psychology and neuroscience, she explores the multi-layered nature of perception and emotional experience, seeking to understand how consciousness is formed and transformed through aesthetic engagement.
Public Interaction
DaDa’s installations invite audiences into sensorially rich, interactive environments where energy flows, emotional resonance, and bodily presence become central. Viewers are no longer passive observers but active co-experiencers, participating in a shared exploration of awareness, presence, and inner awakening.
Her works have been exhibited at institutions and festivals including Tate Britain, Ars Electronica (2019), the London Festival of Architecture (2019), the UK Neuroscience Exhibition (2019), Shenzhen Blockchain Digital Art Week (2021), and the Beijing International Music Festival (2023). She has contributed to internationally recognized projects such as the Grammy performance by Lady Gaga with Intel (2016), the robotic performance “Hangzhou Time” at the 2018 Asian Games closing ceremony, and the Barbican’s Virtual Realms touring exhibition.
Through cross-disciplinary research and embodied artistic practice, DaDa positions her work not only as a tool for expression, but as a speculative and experiential laboratory for exploring consciousness and the spiritual dimension. Her creations form part of a personal cosmic framework that bridges Eastern metaphysics and Western humanistic inquiry. By stimulating the senses and invoking emotional attunement, she invites viewers into a reexamination of the self, perception, and interconnectedness—opening up new frontiers in both art and human awareness.
